Looking for a Reform alternative?

If you are looking for an alternative to Reform, you've come to the right place. Reform, like most other form builders, requires payment on a recurring basis. Even if you just create 2, 3 or 5 forms throughout a year, you have to commit to yet another subscription.

Deftform is a form builder without a subscription

We offer two very affordable pricing packages. Either choose pay as you go / prepaid, or get a lifetime account. No fixed, recurring costs and if you opt for the prepaid package, you can add additional forms as often as you want, whenever you need. Forms never expire.

Reform starts at $15/month (or $150/year), but that does not include team management or file uploads. If you want that, you will have to pay $35/month (or $350/year).

The Deftform prepaid package is just €12.50 (one-time payment) and will get you 5 forms. That's just €2.50 per form with unlimited responses, a custom domain and much more. Our alternative is the lifetime package for just €189. Pay once, use forever. Unlimited forms, unlimited responses, file uploads and much more.

Deftform is made in Germany and bootstrapped

We're a German company, building affordable platforms that are easy to use. We don't bloat our software with unnecessary features just so our feature list gets long and impressive. We stay humble, focusing on what matters to get the job done.

A word on privacy

As we have strict rules in the EU, and Germany in particular, your data is safe with us and we value your privacy. We never share or sell your data for profit, that is not our business model and never will be. Reform is part of a US company. While we don't know if or how they use customer data for anything else, many people prefer EU alternatives for added trust and security.

A form builder with different styles and custom domain

Deftform allows you to create custom form styles. With that, you can create a custom style for every form you have. You can change the background color, even add a background image, field color, button color, text color – basically the whole appearance of a form.

Store it as a template and reuse with any of your forms.

Custom domain by default

With Deftform, you can also use your own domain when sharing or embedding forms. Simply attach a domain like forms.example.com, add a CNAME record to your domain DNS settings and you're good to go.

At the time of writing this, Reform does not offer much customization other than adding your logo. You are also forced to use their domain. You can change the team name (available in their Pro plan), which is visible in the final url, and use a custom slug, but that's pretty much it.
